MHS Employees Donate to Abilene Schools
Employees of Memorial Health System (MHS) recently had another day they could wear blue jeans at work for a “Jeans Day” fundraiser. Employees who made a donation of at least $5 were allowed to wear blue jeans on the last Friday of January. The day was organized by the MHS Employer of Choice (EOC) committee. In addition to the “Jeans Day”, MHS employees could donate new or gently used gloves, hats, and coats, for school-aged children, during the month of January at Memorial Hospital or Village Manor. Two full boxes of items, along with $450, were presented to U.S.D. 435 at the school district office in Abilene.
