Hospice Annual Volunteer Banquet to be Held
Hospice of Dickinson County staff and the Hospice Advisory Board are pleased to honor their volunteers and supporters at the Annual Volunteer Banquet. It will be held Tuesday, November 14, at 6:00 p.m. at the First Presbyterian Church, 1400 N. Cedar, Abilene. The theme of this year’s banquet is “Volunteers Are Birds of a Feather”.
All Hospice Volunteers, supporters of Dickinson County Hospice, and End of the Trail Quilters Guild members are invited. Guests are welcome to attend.
Guest meals are $12 each and are payable at the door. The meal will be provided by Mr. K’s Farmhouse.
Reservations are requested by Friday, November 10, and can be called to 785-263-6630.
Kathleen Depperschmidt will be the speaker for the banquet. Her topic will be “Good Grief: Living After Loss.”
Our volunteers will be honored in a short program by years of service along with the End of the Trail Quilters Guild members who donated quilts.
